Superstitionisation of Tradition

This is not even a word, superstitionisation, but it is happening. Let me give you an example.
Q. Why do we touch elder's feet?
A. When we touch elder's feet and he touches our head. This completes a circuit and positive energy flows from touched to toucher.
What is this? It is superstitionization of Indian tradition, in which a simple mark of Honor or respect, the touching of elder's feet is explained in scientific jargons having no proper scientific validity. So it changes a simple tradition of showing respect to a pseudo-science and is debunked in due time.
Why not a more traditional way of explaining it, saying it is just the way we do it. Why do we need to explain our Namaste, Pranam etc in such ridiculous way?
It would be difficult to debunk things which are done just for the sake of doing it. How would you debunk handshake or adab? But once it is explained away with neo-science it becomes falsifiable.
Naive Indians fall for that, filled with the inferiority complex. Not realizing that this way any tradition could be finished off easily.
What do you have to say about this?

To atheists - its not a holy war

When Mansur Al – Hallaj was accused of blasphemy for his dav – e – ana’l – haq, the then caliph or Khalifa-ut-allah, the representative of Allah on earth told him, “My friend, you know I’m also an atheist but unlike you, I don’t go around shouting it”. Mansur then told him, “My lord, I’m nothing but truth”
As it is apparent, Al – Hallaj was not persecuted for his disbelief but because he was not being a hypocrite.
People believe that atheism is a doctrine opposed to religion. This is a completely false belief, not only atheism is a part and parcel of many organized religion, say Jainism but also much atheist organization functions very similar to missionary religions.
Vinayak Damodar Rao Savarkar, the Veer S was a vocal atheist. He used to denounce theism from the podium of Hindu Mahasabha. His Hindutva, an essentially atheistic system would win him admiration from deeply communal people.
The Kayade azam of our beloved neighbor, Md. Ali Jinnah was no Namazi either. What he created is a nightmare for humanity, but nothing more than that. On the other hand, there was Badshah Khan, the panch waqt ka namazi, the epitome of non-violence and secularism.
So why did our fringe elements choose to follow atheists or suited mullahs? How did these atheist nationalist and modern looking Muslims end up heading sectarian trifles?
The answer is simple. These people talked in the same voice of sectarianism notwithstanding their beliefs. So what RSS is full of atheist, it is an integral part of Sanatan Dharma. Why not Muslims accept rioting atheists, aren’t they ‘a quarter’ Muslim saying ‘La illahe’ all the time.
People who are an atheist need to understand that atheism does not make anyone any more rational, humanist or secular than anyone else. It just makes you correct on one simple fact. Period.
It is true that atheists who lead religious group are dangerous. The danger is, most of them are not honest like Veer S but are the modern Caliphs. But even good hearted Atheists are dangerous, if not to themselves, then to society. One thing that they get right, gives them the false belief that they are right about everything. They will get drunk of a social issue, and will always try to be the cause of dharma chakka parivartana, become the messiah, the last Rasool of no Allah. Most of the time they do not have an iota of idea what is going on with the society.
Atheists need to open their mind about how they see the world. It is not an Atheist = rational = irreligion = left = communist equation and just because you have realized the fact of common sense that the creationism is a wonderful fable and nothing more than that, you don’t have to associate yourself to any of these extremes.
Atheist need to make a choice, they could not hold on to communism or left or Buddhism because they are essentially atheistic. You have to see the regression, terrorism, and superstition in them. You have to recognize the progress in capitalism, the logic, and realism in theistic Nyaya and non-sectarianism of bhakti giants.
Atheism is not holy. It does not belong to anyone. No one should own it or sell it. It should not be a community. It is a plain fact. Congratulation if you know that fact and move on to make your life something more than just about this.

LGBT Duties

LGBT is, of course, denied the basic rights that even the animals enjoy. It is good they have raised their voice against the Victorian hangover. Lekin as a third person what I see?
Bahar sey, it seems LGBT group in India is blindly imitating their western counterparts (Like any other community in India.)
What does pride parade will give? I don’t know.
How can society give them right to be obscene that even the straights of the country do not have?
Indian society and religion are quite Homophobic. (While all the great Homosexuals of West converted into one form of Hinduism to other.)
LGBT community has a place of garbage. When the rainbow flag is flown high along with Tiranga on an Indian road, the other person perceives it as if garbage is being thrown on the road. They don’t protest, though, just like they don’t do if actual garbage is thrown.
It is not tolerant society but too lazy to actively protest. Although this trend is changing with active Hindutva (and YAY for that…sometimes.)
What is left when the parade is over? Just like any other function in India, it leaves Kuda-kachra all over. While demanding rights they have totally overlooked the duties.
Not only this, there was no active participation of ‘OUT’ LGBT community in Swach Bharat Abhiyan. They truly missed an opportunity to come out and lead with Societal Duties that is absent in Indian mind.
LGBT Indians are too lazy, hypocrite and messed up with both ‘right and left’ nonsense just like an Indian.
LGBT duties are no different than ordinary duties of Indians just like their rights.

Next time when you come out to protest (In your ridiculously peaceful manner, without any civil disobedience!) remember to wash your feet before it gets anything (or anyone) dirty.

The Gay Debate

Some say, “Homosexuality is unnatural!” (Do notice the exclamation mark). भाई जान, “हाथ कंगन को आरसी क्या?” Don’t they exist? Our great ऋषि जैमिनी said, “Perception is the best proof of Dharma.”
So मित्रों, before you start refuting logic tell me, what is so natural about airplanes, artificial intelligence, spaceships and beautiful girls.
One of my girlfriends asked me once, “Hey! Do you like my makeup?”
“Yes! You do a good Pikachu” I said.
When Neil Armstrong set his foot on the moon, that incident was as natural as Rakhi Sawant’s face (no offense).
Maybe but those dahi-mathi kids always grow up into certain Raksashas, Apsaras, and Kinnaras.
I was watching a Hollywood movie with one of my girlfriends, I could not remember the exact dialogue but it might have gone like this –
“Hey, Sebastian! Where are you going?”
“To the yoga class”
“The yoga class, why? Are you gay?”
Not anymore my stereotypical friend, because Babaji says he can cure gays by yoga! Hurray………. Shushrut couldn’t do it, Patanjali failed, Charka also failed but this manifestation of Dhanwantari can.
Babaji also says, “ये हमारी संस्कृति के खिलाफ है।”
कहने को तो बाबाजी की योग संस्कृति है।. But this बाबाजी की संस्कृति is ‘the last novelty left in India.’ The legacy of our great white masters only flavored for Indian palate. मसाला मार के you see.
I was walking around with one of my girlfriends when she said, “Hey what is this ugly pungent smell?”
“What you call ugly, people are intoxicated by it. Look there it is ठेका देसी शराब।’”
“Well indeed Mr. Philosopher, but can you tell what stinks worse than this and is still more intoxicating?” She asked.
“I’ve no idea”
“Get Idea, its ‘ठेका देसी संस्कृति’”
It is often said, east or west India is the best. But sahib India has not only east and west but also north and south and all the in-betweens. Southeast Asia is the only sub-continent which has a language dedicated to a queer subculture. The Hijra-Farsi of Hijra people of India. राजस्थान की लोक कथाओ से लेकर पौराणिक और आगमिक मिथकों तक क्या फिलिस्तीन की संस्कृति है?
Someone asked Mamdhatri, “Hey Mady! How is your mother?”
“He is fine,” Mandy said.
“No Mandy, I’m asking about your mother”
“Define Mother.”
“The women who suckled you.”
“I'm suckled by a man Sakra, he is fine.”
“No Mandy, umm how is the woman who gave birth to you?”
“Well I'm born of a man, King Yuyanashwa and he is also doing well”
“No Mady. How is your father’s wife?”
“He married thrice, about whom you ask?”
“The one you call your mother Mandy!”
“I told you! He is fine.”
Marriage is a union of two selves it is said. Abhinavagupta tried producing Manas Putras, he failed so the poor guy has to marry.
Apparently one marries because one has to beget. The gay couple can never beget so they should never marry.
If a gay couple does marry, they can always adopt, can’t they? Dattak putram! Well not as per law. A gay couple cannot adopt but a gay person can adopt as a single father beside the point of his relationship status. So in a certain way, they can still adopt. Each one of them can but not together. There is a reason the LGBT group takes Indian constitution too personally.
बाबासाहब बता तूने ये क्या किया?
Talk about rights, जानवरों के पास भी ज्यादा हकूक है।. Elementary rights you know. But the article 377 is not at all discriminatory. It oppresses as much the ‘straight couples who are into non-missionary positions’ as the gay couples. It is a secular oppression. It is a law of a secular republic, its secularism is an axiom. Isn’t it?
परन्तु प्रजापति की माया देखो। In some way gay marriage is not illegal in India, child marriage is. One has to decide what is more anti-social and immoral and what is more abundant.
One of my girlfriends asked me a totally out of the context question, “who made these morality laws anyway?”
All of a sudden Brahma appears, “I did” He said.
“Brahma Dev Ji, didn’t you lusted after your daughter and married her?”
“Yes...” Brahma confessed, “I made laws after that.”
Notwithstanding, Indian is the only society that has recognized the third gender for ages. The recent amendments in law also recognize their marriages and rights. It took years to protect those who were socially acceptable and religiously divine. How much time would it take for dubiously social people who are held demonic?

When Indra Came Out!

So it was! A queer situation! In a even Queerer time. Indra was tensed, confused, and afraid. He was having this strange feeling!
'Why me?' 'Why not Varuna, or his boyfriend?' 'Why not Rudra or Vishnu?'
Thoughts like these were floating in his mind. He had a reputation. A reputation of Warrior, Brave and Mighty.
'How can these strange feelings develop in a man's heart?' thought Indra.King of devas, Lord of men, Indra is invictus, never lost, then? he was loosing himself.
"These feelings, are they proper for a man?" He said while drinking soma. "I've destroyed so many cities which came in our way, Conquered the unconquered. Even the great Vrita couldn't stand in front of me. This day, I couldn't stand on myself!"

Indra honor was at stake, or as he thought so! They call him Thunder, what will they call him now? These feelings for Yuvanashva's New born, which had erupted like lava from the volcano heart of his, If expressed he will surely loose his status! Indra was afraid, for the first time. He never thought that his great fear is not any enemy, but something within.
"Why me, why nature has chosen me! Nature?" Indra saddened, " How can this be natural? This never happened before! Then why these new strange feelings are born in my heart?"
This indeed was a new thing, but once everything was a new-thing! And what happened in the world this time is also unique. Never before a man gave birth to a baby. Now Yuvanashva did it. But why Indra has to participate in this strangeness.
"This surely is a work of Brahmins, they can bind us to do what they want." thought Indra " But why they will do this? Is this a revenge for killing brahmin Vrita? Or they do this for amusement? Oh you brahmins of earth listen to Brihaspati your fellow brahmin and amuse yourself with materials on earth and not us!"

----------------------------------------

While Indra was having these thoughts, Agni entered,"what happening there?", Indra asked Agni reported,"Yuvanashva came to senses after delivery!"
"and?"
"Its a boy as said the royal doctor"
"Is he healthy?"
"Yes and the same inquired the father. 'He is born of a great person my king' saying this entered royal brahmin' He surely is healthy!' 'But hungry', The doctor said.'And we do not have anything to feed a new born', said brahmin, ' If nothing is arranged, we have to feed him with honey''Had he born of a woman', grieved the doctor ' He surely have got his deserved milk"
Agni was experienced reporter beyond any doubt.

-----------------------------------------

Listening all this Indra became uneasy.
"No" He shouted, "Nothing matters now" He was furious like Varuna.
"My feeling are genuine, natural, and not imposed!"Indra then wept like Rudra, sobbing he murmured "I've won territories, haven't I Agni! You people respect me and love me as a King, brave and strong. But i'm week Agni! Surely I'm week!"
Agni shouted, "How dare you say that! We believe in you, your are our brave warrior, our great king. Mighty lord! How dare you question our belief!"
Indra smiled, "You say that only because you are unaware of my feelings!"
"What feelings?", inquired Agni for the first time."Leave it", said Indra, " None of it matters now, let us go to Yuvanashva place!"

and so they left

--------------------------------------------

"Look" Shouted Agni, "They are about to feed boy, stop!"
"who is this?", asked the royal brahmin furiously, "You Agni-deva! How can you come without being ignited (invited)?"
"Sometimes as brahmin myself, I'm self ignited" Answered Agni, further he said "and welcome our lord, Purendra!"
"Welcome lord! what bring you here?" The brahmin doubted.
"Love" replied Indra, turning towards Yuvanashva, lord questioned, " How can you let your child feed like an orphan?"
"I have no choice Lord, I'm not woman enough to produce milk!" excused Yuvanashva.
"But I'm" Saying this Indra, the epitome of manhood took the child in his hand, and put his fingers into the mouth of the baby, "mama dhati" he said.
The doctor was amazed, "Wonderful Nature, see how baby suckle Indra's hand, No need for water or honey or anything, the lord himself has produced milk! Amazing!"
"Indeed amazing", Said Brahmin, " Just now we have seen King giving birth, and now we see Lord feeding him like mother! Wonderful indeed, even what seemed very rare and strange is, let the men know from now, is surely natural"
Agni said, "I do not get who is more satisfied, the baby or the lord. Look at the face of lord! It is glowing like of Soma."
The Lord Indra was looking at baby as he sucked milk. "This indeed is a great feeling" thought the lord, "I don't know why was i so afraid? This feels good. It doesn't matter what world thinks of me! I'm good the way I'm! The truth is I'm true to myself, self alone is truthful!"
Yuvanashva felt awkward, "Brahmin you called Indra 'like mother', while you used 'father' for me. I gave birth to my baby!"
"So you think mother is sweeter a word than father king?" bahmin asked while Indra came out loud, "Think not this king, I'm surely his mother as I've fed him. You surely is his father as you gave birth to him. But a father too feeds his son and mother too gave birth. I here proclaim that I shall ever be known as the one who suckled his baby, Yuvanashva never be embarrassed by this strange incidences for this birth is divine indeed."
"And hence forward the the baby would be called Mandhatri, Hence his name bear the greatness of the lord, the beneficent and ever loving", said Brahmin.
"Jai ho, Prince Mandhatri whose very birth is devine", hailed doctor, "and jai ho Indra, who like God quenched the thirst of baby. You indeed is Quencher and protector"
"Jai ho, Indra-deva, the lord of the devas, the lord of the men, the brave and mighty, thunder, quencher of thirst, protector and loving and ever beneficent", said the brahmin.
"Jai ho, Indra-deva, the lord of the devas, the lord of the men, the brave and mighty, thunder, quencher of thirst, protector and loving and ever beneficent", hailed everyone except Yuvanashva.

Three Idiots

Poorva Mimansa is more atheistic than both Buddhism and Jainism.

Let us see Jainism do not entertains concept of god and Buddha remained his silence both for god and deities.

Later Buddhist rejected god but not deities, Jainism do believes in deities. But in Jainism these deities are not Siddhartha and can only bestow material gains. In Mahayana even god can be believed, and in Hinayana and even in Theravada deities are not rejected although here not much importance is given.

That, in Buddhism deities are symbolic is a modern interpretations or propaganda , a more traditional Buddhist believes in the ontological existence of deities. although deities are not so important in Dhamma.
In Poorva Mimansa, the earliest document we have is Sabara Bhasya, a commentary on Mimansa Sutra attributed to Rishi Jaimini. Here only, the ontological existence of deities is refuted when Sabara writes , 'the vedic gods are mere words and sounds ' and 'there existence is not outside of vedas ' .No modern propaganda , no atheistic interpretations done as done to Adwaita Vedanta. But the earliest resources itself is clear on its stark atheism. Later Mimansak remains doubtful over deities and Mimansak like Kumarila and Prabhakara wrote extensively to refute the concept of god but maintained silence over deities.

In a nutshell Mimansa was more atheistic in origin over  Buddhism and Jainism  Today Vedanta is more famous among Vedics and many too find Adwaita if they leave Buddhism and Jainism , more interesting than Mimansa, not that mimansa is lesser than any other.
